“As a vet, happiest in theatre, I saw there was a need for comfortable, yet fashionable scrub wear.
With a huge range of designs to suit everyone, they’re a great way for members of the team to showcase their individuality. Often in our clinical teams we’re all wearing the same uniform and it’s a lovely way to be reminded of the human being and personality behind the uniform or job title.
I’m really passionate about the environment. One of the driving forces behind All Scrubbed Up is to be able to help contribute in some small way to reducing waste from disposable items which end up in land fill. By everyone choosing to use a reusable scrub hat, it really makes a big impact!
As well as benefiting the environment, they’re actually better for our patients too. This study published in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons showed that cloth hats outperformed disposable hats.
From birthdays to graduations, to passing exams and new jobs; these occasions are worth capturing as permanent keepsakes to remind us of the joy, connection and progress we’ve made”.
